Mark Turner has been Vice President of Station Operations Nexstar Broadcasting Inc. since January of 2017. He joined Nexstar from Media General where he served as Vice-President of Station Engineering and Operations for Media General since November 2014. Prior to that, he served as Vice-President of Broadcast Technology for Media General beginning in April of 2011; Vice-President of Technology for Media General Digital beginning in September 2007; and Director of IT for Media General Broadcast beginning in January 1988.
Prior to his broadcast career, Mr. Turner worked as a design engineer in the aerospace industry.

During Mr. Turner’s twenty-nine years with Media General, he led initiatives to automate or improve operations including news production, master control, traffic and graphics.
