As Director of Technology and Operations for the Digital Convergence Alliance, Tyler Brock has enjoyed the opportunity to apply his background in IP Network Engineering, Virtualization and traditional IT disciplines to support an innovative environment, purpose built for the next generation of television origination. The DCA provides centralized master control services to PBS stations in 14 markets around the U.S. with a comprehensive approach, spanning from traffic services to final broadcast encode and over-the-air presence monitoring. Tyler has had the privilege while at the DCA of leading the charge to blur the lines between Engineering and Operations to create a team capable of providing world class services to those stations calling the DCA home. As new technologies arise and develop, Tyler has a special focus on analyzing how they relate to the offerings of the DCA in order to continue to advance the capabilities of the group as a whole.
