Edward Caleca is an Executive Consultant at Caleca Technology & Media. As an Executive Consultant he supports the use of Broadcast, IP/IT Technology and Telecommunications in the Media and Broadcast Industry. Over the past ten years he has provided consulting and project management support to The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), National Public Radio (NPR), Voice of America (VOA) and a host of America's public television stations.

Prior to formation of the ten year old consulting business, Ed Caleca spent 10 years as Senior Vice President, Technology and Operations at PBS. During his tenure, Caleca provided the leadership for public television's DTV transition and Next Generation Interconnection System (NGIS). As an officer of the business, Caleca applied his executive management skills to Broadcast/Media technology and operations, capital financial management, technical client support and new technologies project management.

Before joining PBS, Caleca was AT&T's VP & General Manager responsible for media and broadcast industry customers nationwide for more than 20 years. He supported the
needs of the broadcast and media industry, and project managed the video and audio broadcast/telecom components to the World Cup and 1980's and 1990's winter and summer Olympics projects for AT&T, including the 1996 Games in Atlanta.

Caleca earned an MBA from Pace University, a BA in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and has completed a number of continuing Executive Education classes at MIT and Stanford University. He is a veteran of the Vietnam conflict and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy.
